We are excited to announce the launch of the Skills Initiative Alumni Advisory Council, and we’re looking for 8-10 passionate alumni to join us in shaping the future of our alumni engagement!
As a council member, you will have the unique opportunity to:
- Support outreach efforts to connect with fellow alumni
- Plan impactful events and initiatives
- Serve on the Scholarship Committee
- Help identify resources that benefit our alumni community
Why Join the Advisory Council?
Being a part of the council comes with exciting benefits, including:
- A $150 monthly stipend in recognition of your time and contributions
- Opportunities to develop your leadership skills and grow personally and professionally
- The chance to shape the culture and experiences of the Skills Initiative alumni community
- Expanding your network by connecting with other alumni and professionals
Council Expectations:
Council members will meet once a month, alternating between in-person and virtual meetings, and are expected to contribute 3-5 additional hours per month toward projects and tasks.

The application process is simple and should take about 25-30 minutes to complete. Be prepared to provide the contact information for one non-relative reference.
Key Dates to Remember:
- Week of October 21st: Application goes live
- November 5th: Application closes
- November 6th-18th: Interviews conducted
- November 25th: Final decisions made
- December 4th: Mandatory Advisory Council PAM
- December 12th: Council members announced at the Winter Celebration
